| "The Bridge" is the college aged group of Mt. Summit Christian Church. The group was formed four years ago after a need was identified by a college aged church member who realized they missed the fellowship and fun of the youth groups. The group named themselves "The Bridge" because they are the link, the "bridge", between the youth groups and the adult groups. The age range for the group is very laxed and ranges from 18 to 30. It is a great group for the young adults who do not feel ready to become part of the Christian Women's Fellowship or the Men's Accountability and Prayer group. |
| "The Bridge" meets every second and fourth Sunday evening, usually at the home of Pastor Mark. Pastor Mark graciously feeds the group at almost every meeting and assists in leading the group in discussions and Bible studies. "The Bridge" is a great way for young adults to find out how other young Christian adults are dealing with the stresses of college and the "adult" world that comes after college. "The Bridge" also serves the community by holding events like dinners to raise money for the church and members in need, and The Blacktop Bash, which was a community outreach event where bands performed and games were provided for entertainment. |
| "The Bridge" is a fun group where new people are always welcome and fun things are always happening. Feel free to drop in at a meeting and see what they are all about. |
